Wow it's Monday already...............

I've had a great weekend, finally back at my quilting machine and finishing some of my baby quilts, ready for donation..............

Soft and gentle shades of blue with a bright flash of yellow for contrast. A baby's quilt.

This pattern is a favourite of mine, super easy as long as you remember to snowball the corners of two of the fence rail pieces before you sew them together!

I love playing with colour on this quilt design. This one was a subtle play on blues, with a spash of yellow in the pinwheel.

The pinwheel always needs to be colourful to show up - it needs to stand out......

Butterflies for a baby!

This one is so colourful, I love the butterfly fabric. I purposely kept the pattern simple to enhance the colour and the butterfly fabric.

Colourful baby quilt

A versatile design, which looks complicated, but is actually very easy. Its all in the placement and of course the colour and fabrics that you use.

I have made a larger version of this where the background was a smoky orange....... very different.........

They look so different!

Black and orange as a quilt combination! How unusual.........

Well I got 6 finished! not bad for a 3 day weekend!
