Friends Who Create

I meet up with an amazing group of ladies most Fridays. Friends Who Create is a group of ladies who sew for charity, they make all sorts of items. Anyway once a month I do a Block of the Month session, and we create a quilt block, that they can keep and make into something for themselves. They learn some quilt piecing techniques and we have a lot of laughs and fun.

It is really lovely though when they take the learning from these sessions and create their own quilts.

About a month or so ago I did the Simple Triangle Block with them and yep! a quilt has been created................ love the colours and love the energy! Well done Virginia......

This month, we tackled Foundation Paper Piecing............ Everyone was very focussed and it was an excellent morning with excellent results.
